Introduction
Located in the Rohini region of Delhi, the magnificent Jain temple of Jain Nagar is a symbol of spirituality, social harmony, and positivity. Established in 2009, the temple's sacred Panch Kalyanak Pratishtha ceremony was conducted under the guidance of Acharya Shri Darshan Sagar Maharaj Ji. This temple beautifully preserves and showcases the traditions and values of Jainism. The temple's grand structure extensively features marble, creating an ambiance of serenity and purity. The principal deity, Shri 1008 Munisuvratanath Bhagwan, is enshrined in a majestic black stone idol. The sanctum also houses intricately crafted Ashtadhatu (a combination of eight metals) idols of Panch Balayati Tirthankars and Bharat-Bahubali Bhagwan. Inside the temple, each of the 24 Tirthankars is represented by three idols - one made of stone and two made of Ashtadhatu. Additionally, the temple uniquely enshrines the idols of Ganadhars alongside the Tirthankars. The temple’s Shikhar features a splendid marble Vedi (altar) dedicated to Shri Parshvanath Bhagwan, adorned with exquisite stone idols that captivate devotees. A Manas Stambh has been erected in the temple premises, enhancing the spiritual aura. Daily rituals and prayers are conducted with devotion, and special ceremonies such as Shri Munisuvratanath Bhagwan's special Vidhan and Shani Amavasya rituals are held on the last Saturday of every month. Various religious ceremonies, including Siddhachakra Vidhan and other spiritual events, are regularly organized. Grand celebrations of major Jain festivals, including Das Lakshan Parva and Bhagwan Mahavir Jayanti, are conducted with great enthusiasm.

This divine occurrence astonished the entire Jain community and reinforced the temple’s spiritual significance. Devotees believe that just visiting the temple instills positive energy and spiritual peace. The temple’s serene and sacred atmosphere provides a tranquil experience to all visitors.

Shri 1008 Munisuvratanath Digambar Jain Temple is a revered pilgrimage site situated in Jain Nagar, Rohini, Delhi. The nearest metro station is Rithala, from where public transport is readily available to reach Jain Nagar. The locality is often referred to as Tirthankar Nagar, as it is predominantly inhabited by the Jain community. Around 60 Jain families reside near the temple, actively participating in the religious and social activities conducted here. Approximately 30-35 devotees visit the temple daily for prayers and darshan.
Beyond being a place of worship, the temple plays a vital role in community welfare initiatives. It has organized one or two Ayurvedic medical camps for public benefit. The temple premises include two to three well-maintained, spacious rooms for visiting Jain Saints, ensuring a comfortable stay with all necessary amenities. One of these rooms is equipped with air conditioning to provide a conducive environment for meditation and spiritual practices. Additionally, arrangements are made for external devotees and pilgrims, ensuring a convenient and pleasant stay.
History
