Why we built this

Many of India's Jain temples carry centuries of history, but that history often exists only in the memory of local committees and elders, scattered across village records and never written down. JainSthal exists to change that — one temple, one entry at a time — so this heritage stays discoverable for the generations after us.

What you'll find here

Bilingual records

Every temple page is written in both English and Hindi, so the community that knows a temple best can read and contribute in the language they're comfortable in.

Verified information

Temple details are reviewed before publishing, and a Verified badge marks entries our team has confirmed against a trusted source.

Photos and virtual darshan

Photo galleries and, where available, virtual darshan videos, so anyone can experience a temple even if they can't travel there.

Committee and history

Present-day committee members alongside the temple's history, main idols, and architectural details — the full picture, not just an address.
