Introduction
The construction of Shri 1008 Rishabhdev Jinalaya, Adarsh Nagar (Gurugram), was carried out by Shri Prakash Chand Jain, Master Ji ( Firozpur Jhirka Wale) under the inspiration and blessings of revered Gayanini Pramukh Aryika Shri 105 Gyanmati Mataji. Due to the poor health of Shri Prakash Chand Jain's wife, it was difficult for her to visit the temple, thus Shri Prakash Chand Ji wanted to build a temple so that his wife could have the privilege of Darshan. Therefore, he donated half of his family wealth for the construction of the temple. The Panchkalyanak (consecration ceremony) of the temple was held from 20th to 25th February 2002 in the presence of Upadhyay Muniraj Shri 108 Shrutasagar Ji Maharaj. As the Jain community gradually increased in number, the space in the temple began to short to accommodate the devotees. In order to ensure that people face no difficulties in visiting the temple, renovations and construction of the Jinalaya, Guru Vedi (altar), Shrut Vedi, and Shikhar (spire on top) were undertaken under the guidance of revered Acharya Ratna Shri 108 Bahubali Sagar Ji Maharaj's most influential disciple Guru Pattastha Gayanini Aryika Shri 105 Shruthdevi Mataji and Revered Pujya Shramani Aryika Shri 105 Sugyani Mataji. The Panchkalyanak of the Vedi and Acharya Pratima was held from 18th to 20th May 2022 under the guidance of Vastu expert Guru Mukesh Jain Shastri "Vinarm" in Gurugram.
In the Mool Vedi (main altar) of the temple, the Moolnayak (main deity) is of the first Jain Tirthankar, Shri 1008 Rishabhdev Bhagwan Ji. In the Vedi, along with the idol of Shri 1008 Rishabhdev Bhagwan, idols of Shri 1008 Vasupujya Bhagwan, Shri 1008 Chandraprabhu Bhagwan, Shri 1008 Mahavir Bhagwan, Siddha Parmeshthi, and Shri 1008 Parshvanath Bhagwan are also enshrined. The idols of Siddha Parmeshthi and Vasupujya Bhagwan were brought and enshrined in the Vedi by Shri Paras Jain Ji from his home. The Guru Vedi of Jinavani Mata and Aryika Shiromani 105 Gyanmati Mata Ji are also located in the Garbh Grah of the temple. This temple is the only Jain Temple in Gurugram where the Vedi of the Dev (deity), Shastra (scriptures), and Gurudev Ji (Saint) is located in the Garbh Grah. Beautiful Jain paintings adorn the Garbh Grah of the temple, and all the Vedi are decorated with gold work. Every day, a large number of Jain devotees perform regular worship, rituals, and jalabhishek in the temple.
Dharamshala
Gurugram, located 36 kilometers away from the capital city of India, Delhi, has several Jain temples established in different areas. A committee has been formed for each temple. In the Adarsh Nagar area of Gurugram, the Shri 1008 Rishabhdev Jinayalaya is situated. The committee has managed cleanliness arrangements for the devotees visiting the temple. Additionally, a dining hall has been arranged within the temple premises. A hall has been constructed within the temple for discourses during the visit of the revered Jain Saints. Provision for the Jain Saints residence called Tyagi Bhavan has also been made within the temple. Approximately 500 meters away from this temple, in the Gurugram Sadar Bazaar, is situated Shri 1008 Parshvanath Digambar Jain Mandir. Adjacent to the Shri 1008 Parshvanath Digambar Jain Mandir, there is a Jain dharamshala where arrangements are made for the accommodation of pilgrims coming from distant areas. Alongside the dharamshala, the Bhagwan Parshvanath Charitable Medicare Center is operated, providing facilities such as homeopathy, physiotherapy, eye care, dental services, specialized pediatric care, dermatology, etc.
History

It came to be known as Gurugram after him, which later transformed into Gurgaon. Gurugram is located 32 kilometers from the national capital, New Delhi.
