Ranila Ji Atishay Kshetra
It is presently one of the most renowned Atishay Kshetra in Haryana, due to its significance as a sacred place for the Jain community.
The Ranila Trust and Management Committee, a charitable trust, has been established to manage and operate the services of the Shri 1008 Bhagwan Adinath Digambar Jain Mandir. Its main objective is to work for the temple located in the Ranila area, which includes tasks such as temple cleanliness, organization of religious rituals, and other services. Introduction
Shri 1008 Bhagwan Adinath Digambar Jain Mandir, also known as Ranila Ji, is located in Charkhi Dadri tehsil of Bhiwani district in Haryana. It is approximately 40 kilometers from Rohtak and about 84 kilometers from Delhi.

Ranila Ji has also been an important Jain center during the medieval periods under the patronage of the Tomar dynasty and Chauhan dynasty. The temple houses the Moolnayak Pratima (main deity’s idol) of Shri 1008 Adinath Bhagwan Ji, in a newly constructed majestic Trikoot Jinalaya. Alongside the Vedi (altar) of the deity, there is a temple dedicated to Mata Chakreshwari Devi in the west and a Charan Sthal in the east. Both idols are carved from red sandstone and were discovered by Jat Ranjeet Singh Ji during excavation in his field on October 18, 1991. These idols appear to be more than 1400-1500 years old. The idol of Shri 1008 Adinath Bhagwan Ji depicts the beautiful scene of Jain Samavasharan with a representation of Shrivatsa on the chest and a dharma chakra (wheel) below the Ashan, adorned with the carving of a bull's head. On both sides, there are depictions of Indra holding a chawar (fly whisk) and flowers with elephants, as well as carvings of Ashoka leaves and three Chhatar (brolly) over the head, with a depiction of drums being played on the top. The temple was constructed and completed in April 2006, following which the idols were consecrated within the temple. Ranila Ji's magnificent temple stands out uniquely in terms of art, beauty, and modernity. It is believed by the Jain community that whoever devoutly gazes upon these idols, all their wishes are fulfilled. Even the non-Jain local community holds unwavering reverence towards the idols. The development of the area is still ongoing.
Atishay Katha
The story of Ranila Ji Jain Mandir is extremely significant and filled with numerous miracles. Firstly, on October 18, 1991, during the auspicious day of Dashami, the bright fortnight of Ashwin month, a miraculous event occurred orchestrated by a Jat farmer, Shri Ranjeet Singh. A captivating idol of the first Tirthankar, Shri Adinath Bhagwan, of sandalwood color, and an extremely beautiful artistic idol of Yakshini Chakreshwari Devi manifested. Following the manifestation of the idols, the brackish water of the area, which was unsuitable for drinking, miraculously transformed into sweet water.
Once, the revered Shri 105 Aryika Ratan Srishthi Bhushan Mata Ji visited the area. It was at a time when Mata Ji was suffering from knee problems and was unable to walk upon arrival at the site. One day, while deeply engrossed in reciting Bhaktamar Stotra, water began to flow spontaneously from the idol itself. Witnessing this miraculous event, all the devotees present began chanting praises. One devotee stepped forward and offered the water to Mata Ji, upon touching which she was instantly cured of all her ailments. Following these miraculous events during the recitation of Bhaktamar Stotra, the temple inscribed Bhaktamar in 48 golden letters. Thus, the influence of miracles can be observed in the area from time to time.
Dharamshala
Since the idols were enshrined here, the development of the area has progressed rapidly. Despite the absence of any Jain families, this area has transformed into a developed and expansive region. The temple has 36 rooms for accommodation, each equipped with attached bathrooms. Additionally, there are 12 rooms without bathrooms. The total capacity for accommodating pilgrims here is approximately 250. There are three large halls which are utilized for special prayers, lectures, and for the arrival of revered saints. A dining hall is available which operates regularly and free of charge. It's heartening to note that a library has been established here for the study and research of Jainism, which will be immensely useful in raising awareness among the younger generation about their Jain religion.
