Tijara Ji Atishay Kshetra
In 1956, when the municipality of Tijara was widening the roads in the area, remnants of Jain temples were discovered during excavation.

Introduction
Shri 1008 Chandraprabhu Digambar Jain Atishaya Kshetra, Dehra Tijara, is located in Tijara, which is 55 kilometers from Alwar, Rajasthan, and 110 kilometers from Delhi. The name "Dehra" means temple, hence the area is known as Dehra Tijara. Situated between Alwar and Bhiwadi National Highway, Tijara has a famous Jain market on Tijara Jain Temple Road. The market offers various items required for household needs such as pickles, spices, and sweets. Due to the narrow streets of Tijara market, visitors usually walk from their vehicles to reach the temple. Before entering the market, there is a designated parking area provided for visitors arriving from outside. Moving a little further from the market, we reach the main entrance of the temple. Upon entering through the main entrance, a tall Man Stambh made of marble is visible, signifying the sanctity of the temple.
In the temple complex, there are three Vedi (altar) dedicated to Bhagwan Jinendra Ji and two Navratan Vedi. In the Mool Vedi (main altar) of the temple, Chaturth kalin Pratima of Shri 1008 Chandraprabhu Ji is enshrined. In the Vedi to the right of the Mool Vedi, along with the Moolnayak Pratima of Shri 1008 Parshvanath Bhagwan, other idols are also present. Similarly, in the Vedi to the left of the Mool Vedi, along with the Mool Pratima of Shri 1008 Mahavir Bhagwan, other idols are also present. The temple also houses idols of Padmavati Mata Ji and Kshetrapal Baba Ji. The path for circumambulation around the Mool Vedi has been constructed. The entire hall of the temple depicts Jain paintings. A Prakat Sthal area has been made in the temple from where the idol manifested. Visitors to the temple apply the sacred soil from this area on their foreheads.
In 2005, under the inspiration of Acharya Shri 108 Gyan Sagar Ji Maharaj, a beautiful garden was constructed in the temple premises. A long wooden ramp leads to the garden. In the garden, a 15-foot-tall idol made of stone, representing devotion to Shri 1008 Chandraprabhu Bhagwan, has been established. In front of the idol, there is a beautiful park. The temple fulfills the desires of devotees who come with true faith and devotion.

Subsequently, the local Jain community decided that there would be a Jain temple at this location. With this hope, excavation work began again. Despite digging to a considerable depth, nothing significant was found. Eventually, everyone collectively decided to halt the excavation work. During one night, a local resident, Mrs. Saraswati Devi, had a dream that there was an idol of Bhagwan Jinendra Ji at that location. She urged her husband, Mr. Vaid Bihari Ji, to visit the site and light a lamp there. Her husband informed her that despite extensive digging, nothing was found, and the excavation work had been stopped. However, she persisted, pleading with her husband to excavate the site from their end. Finally, Mr. Vaid Bihari Ji relented. Early in the morning, they began digging at the spot where Saraswati Devi had lit the lamp. After some time of excavation, the magnificent idol of Shri 1008 Chandraprabhu Ji manifested from the ground. Later, a temple was constructed, and the idol was enshrined in the temple. Currently, the glory of the temple is spreading in all directions, and due to the significance of the idol, devotees come from far and wide to visit the temple.
Dharamshala
The temple complex also houses a modern Digambar Jain guest house equipped with 500 rooms. Each room is furnished with air conditioning and a geyser for hot water. Additionally, there is a dining hall available for serving pure vegetarian meals. The guesthouse can accommodate up to 2000 pilgrims. Furthermore, there is provision for an Ayurvedic clinic within the guesthouse premises. The management of the guesthouse is overseen by the Tijara Administration Committee of the Digambar Jain Atishay Kshetra.
History

Additionally, the currency note printing press of India is located in Alwar. The Jain temples in Tijara, Alwar, serve as evidence of the dominance of the Jain community in this region at one time.
