Introduction
Shri 1008 Chintamani Parshvanath Digambar Jain Mandir is located in Sector 15, Sonipat. The temple is approximately 6 kilometers away from National Highway 44. The construction of the temple was done through the collaboration of Shri Sukhveer Jain, Shri Mohanlal Jain, and the local Jain community. In the year 2000, the temple's auspicious inauguration ceremony, the first Panchkalyanak, took place in the presence of Jain Saint, Shri 108 Sanmati Bhushan Ji Maharaj. The temple primarily has only one Vedi (altar), where the Moolnayak Pratima (main deity’s idol) is of the 23rd Tirthankara, Shri 1008 Parshvanath Bhagwan Ji. Alongside the Moolnayak pratima, within the Garbh Grah, there are idols of Shri 1008 Shantinath Bhagwan, Shri 1008 Adinath Bhagwan, Shri 1008 Mahavir Bhagwan, and another idol of Shri 1008 Parshvanath Bhagwan. The inner part of the Temple’s Garbh Grah (sanctum sanctorum) is surrounded by glass work, which looks very beautiful. The walls of the temple are adorned with beautiful Jain paintings depicting Jain stories. Adjacent to the temple, there is also a Shwetambar Jain Sthanak constructed.
Both the Digambar Jain and Shwetambar Jain communities in the area enthusiastically participate in special ceremonies together. Jain saints often visit the temple, and the arrival of revered muni maharaj such as Acharya Shri 108 Vishok Sagar Ji Maharaj, Acharya Shri 108 Anusagar Ji Maharaj, Acharya Shri 108 Guptisagar Ji Maharaj, Acharya Shri 108 Veersagar Ji Maharaj, and Aryika Swasti Bhushan Mata Ji have happened in the temple so far. Every day, devout Jain families visit the temple regularly to pay their respects and perform rituals like Abhishek (auspicious bath of the idol). The Jain committee has taken full care of the purity of the devotees coming to the temple.

Shri 1008 Chintamani Parshvanath Digambar Jain Mandir is located in Sector 15, Sonipat, approximately forty kilometers away from the capital city of Delhi, India. Due to the scattered settlement of the Digambar Jain community in different areas of Sonipat, later new Jain temples are built to have the benefits of Darshan. Sector 15, Sonipat, houses a community of around 80 Jain families. All Jain families come together to efficiently manage the affairs of the temple. Arrangements for the stay of Jain saints are made in the Tyagi Bhavan when they visit the temple. There is also a lecture hall in Tyagi Bhavan where people can sit and listen to the discourses of the Saints.

History
Sonipat is a district situated in the state of Haryana, India. The name Sonipat is derived from the Sanskrit word, meaning "Golden Place". Established around 1500 BCE, this city is located approximately 43 kilometers north of New Delhi. Sonipat is renowned for its historical significance, being witness to three major battles between the Mughal Empire and Islamic sultans. Situated on the banks of the Yamuna River, the city has expanded, now being situated about 15 kilometers east of its original location.

Wheat and rice are the main crops, while other crops such as barley, pulses, sugarcane, millet, sesame, and vegetables are also grown. The Sonipat region is home to numerous cultural sites of historical and cultural importance, including temples, gurdwaras, and other historical sites that attract visitors. The area also boasts of a rich heritage that showcases its historical and cultural significance. There are several archaeological sites and protected areas that are of importance to history enthusiasts.
