Shikhopur Sidhant Tirth Kshetra Gurugram

Siddhant Teerth Kshetra is situated in Shikohpur village on Delhi-Jaipur highway road. Acharyaratan Shri 108 Deshbhushan Ji Maharaj, supreme disciple Acharya Shri 108 Bahubali Maharaj Ji along with his Sah-sangh arrival (Mangal Pravesh) happened in Delhi, the capital of India, as on 9 July 2000. During those days, there was no arrangement for Jain Saints traveling Delhi to Jaipur or vice-versa in the area surrounding Shikohpur.

“Thus inspired by the guidance and blessings of Acharya Shri, the leading devotees of the Jain community selected Shikohpur village as their spiritual Centre.”

Acharya Shri named this place as Siddhant Teerth Kshetra. A Chaityalaya was constructed in the area and a Vedi (altar) was enshrined in the Chaityalaya. Later in 2001, the Varshayoga Chaturmas of Acharya Shri along with his Sah-sangh was held at the Siddhant Teerth Kshetra. During the Varshayoga, Acharya Shri inspired the devotees to follow the spiritual path by organizing various religious Anusthan (ceremonies). At the same time, Acharya Bahubali Adhyatmik Anusandhan Trust was formed with the help of 108 Jain devotees. And after the formation of the trust, the construction work paced up and with the inspiration of Acharya Ratna Shri 108 Bahubali Ji Maharaj various religious events started to happen. The Sheelanayas (foundation stone) of the temple was laid on 15 April 2002. The Panchkalyanak (consecration ceremony) of the temple of Panchbalayati Tirthankaras, took place from 22 January to 29 January 2004. Shri 1008 Bahubali Bhagwan Kargasana Pratima, Navagrah Jinalaya, Sahastrakuta Jinalya, were established later where idols were enshrined by 1008 people in 1008 Vedi. In the Garbh Grah (sanctum sanctorum) of the temple, the Moolnayak Pratima (main deity’s idol) of Shri 1008 Parshvanath Bhagwan Ji. Along with the Moolnayak Pratima, Jain idols made of Ashtadhatu and stone are also present in the Vedi. The Vedi of Mata Padmavati and the protector deity Kshetrapal Baba Ji are also present in the Garbh Grah. Outside the Garbh Grah of the temple, Panch Parmeshthi is enshrined in Om and Chaubisi is enshrined in Hreem. Three statues of Mata Padmavati are present together in one Vedi, which is rarely seen in temples. Saptarishi Jinalaya has been constructed in the premises of the temple, in which the statues of Shri Jaiwan Rishiraj, Shri Vinay Lalas Rishiraj, Shri Jayamitra Rishiraj, Shri Manyu Rishiraj, Shri Nishcharaj Ji, Shri Sarvasundar Rishiraj along with other Rishiraj ji are present. The Ratanmayi Chaubisi of Jain Tirthankaras is also present in the premises of the temple. There is a big hall in the temple complex where the Vedi of Navagraha Tirthankaras are placed. Along with this hall, 105 Ratnamayi Pratima are located in the Garbh Grah. It was in the year 2015 when some thieves broke the door of the hall and entered the temple at night to steal the Ratnamayi Pratima. But they found the Garbh Grah of the Ratnamayi Pratima locked and were unable to break it. Therefore they entered the Garbh Grah, through the exhaust fan installed above the door. They climbed on top of the nearby table and opened the exhaust fan and reached inside the Vedi and stole all the idols. When the Jain community came to know about this in the morning, they immediately informed the police about the incident of theft. Within a few weeks, with the help of the police, all the idols were recovered from the border of Rajasthan. But some of these idols were broken into pieces by thieves. Because of which at present only 84 Ratnamayi idols are presently enshrined in the temple.
