Introduction
In the year 2011, a Panchkalyanak was conducted at the Hastinapur Temple in the presence of Aryika 105 Gyanmati Mata Ji. At that time, Mr. Rajkumar Jain participated in the Puja as Saudharma Indra. Mr. Rajkumar expressed to Gyanmati Mata Ji his desire to construct a Nirlay Bhavan in Dharuhera for Jain Saints so that whenever any Muni Maharaj Ji or Mata ji visited the area, there is an ideal arrangement available for their stay. Therefore, with the inspiration of Aryika 105 Gyanmati Mata Ji, they got the idol of Shri Shantinath Bhagwan Ji Pratisthith and brought it to the Garbh Grah (sanctum sanctorum) of the Sarvoday Tirth Temple. Then in the year 2017 the first Panchkalyanak in the temple was held in which twenty-four Jain families enshrined the Ratnamay Chaubisi i.e idols made up of precious stones of all twenty-four Tirthankaras.
In the temple, there is a hall dedicated to Padmavati Mata Ji, where alongside Padmavati Mata Ji, the idol of Shri Parshvanath Ji is also enshrined, resembling the Humcha Padmavati Temple in Karnataka. Between the year 2017 and 2018, Mr. Veerendra Hegde established the idol of Shri Parshvanath Ji in the Vedi (altar) of Mata Padmavati Ji. This Vedi of Mata Padmavati Ji's would be the first Padmavati Mata Ji's Vedi in North India, with the pathway of Parikrama constructed inside the Garbh Grah, which is a unique feature as in most temples, the pathway for Parikrama is outside. Every Friday and Sunday, Mata Ji is adorned and worshipped with devotion. Devotees from far and wide come here to have the darshan of the idol. So far, Acharya Shri 108 Tarunsagar Ji Maharaj, Acharya Shri 108 Vishad Sagar Ji Maharaj, Acharya Shri 108 Gyan Sagar Ji Maharaj, and Shri 108 Virag Sagar Ji Maharaj have visited the temple. Currently, construction work is underway for the Sahastrakoot Jin Mandir where 1008 Jain idols are made of ashtadhatu and a twenty-one feet high idol of Shri Shantinath Bhagwan Ji would be established in the courtyard of the temple. Every day, people from distant areas come to the temple to have darshan.
Dharamshala
In Dharuhera, there is a community of more than a hundred Jain families. The management of the temple is handled by the Jain community itself. From time to time, Jain Saints regularly visit the area. A residence called the "Tyagi Bhavan'' has been constructed for the accommodation of Jain Saints. If any Pilgrim contacts the temple and arrives, arrangements are made for their stay in the Dharamshala built by the Jain community. Also there is a Jain school constructed by the Jain community that provides education up to the fifth grade.
History
Dharuhera is a census town located just 19 kilometers away from the city of Rewari in the state of Haryana, India. It falls within the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi and serves as a major industrial center in the Rewari district. Dharuhera also has emerged as a new development corridor between Gurugram and New Delhi. It is only an hour's drive from the Indira Gandhi International Airport. It is connected to Rajasthan from New Delhi, via National Highway 48. Due to its location, it is a prime choice for industrialists, investors, and real estate developers. As per the 2011 Census of India, the population of Dharuhera was 30,344. The male population constituted 54.09% and the female population constituted 45.91% of the total. The average literacy rate in Dharuhera was 83.18%, which was higher than the state average of 75.55% and the national average of 74.04% as of 2011.
