Introduction
Shri 1008 Parshvanath Digambar Jain Mandir is located in Saha Chokha village of Nuh district in Haryana state. Before the construction of this temple, there was no other Jain temple in the area. People had to travel to Punhana, located seven kilometers away from Saha Chokha, to visit a temple. A Jain Saint has instructed the Saha Chokha Jain community to construct a temple and enshrined the revered statue of Shri Parshvanath Bhagwan in the Vedi (altar). Following this advice, Shri Nemchand Jain promptly constructed a Chaityalaya in his house and installed the idol there. The construction of the Chaityalaya eliminated the need for people to travel long distances for darshan. However, due to the smaller area of the Chaityalaya, people still faced difficulties in visiting for darshan.
The Jain community decided to select an appropriate site for the construction of the temple. Saha Chokha Jain community chose the land situated on Main Road owned by Shri Nemchand Jain for this purpose. This location was deemed suitable not only for the convenience of the visiting devotees but also for parking vehicles. Therefore, the Jain community purchased this land from Shri Nemchand Ji and constructed the temple there. The pratima of Shri Parshvanath Bhagwan enshrined in the temple, was brought from the existing temple and consecrated in the new temple. Additionally, a 21-foot-high Shikhar (spire) was constructed atop the temple in 2009, by Shrimati Pushpa Devi Jain, the wife of Shri Subhash Chand Jain.
The Garbh Grah (sanctum sanctorum) of the temple is located on the upper floor of the building. The ground floor of the temple is being utilized by the Muslim community to establish Iqra Public School for providing education to young children. The school is being operated with a focus on maintaining purity by the Muslim community. The funds received from the school are utilized for the administration of the temple. In the vicinity of the temple, there is only one Jain family, whose members perform the worship and rituals in the temple.

Earlier, there used to be four or five Jain families in Saha Chokha, but today only one Jain family remains. It is this Jain family that takes care of the temple's maintenance. Daily worship and rituals are performed in the temple with due diligence. The temple premises are housed in a two-story building. The Garbh Grah of the temple is located on the upper floor, while the ground floor houses the Iqra Public School. The funds received from the school are utilized for the administration of the temple. Arrangements for accommodation when the Jain Saints visit the area are made in the rooms built within the school.
History
Nuh district is one of the 22 districts in the Indian state of Haryana. It is also known as Satyamev puram and Mewat. The name Satyamev puram was given by Mahatma Gandhi, and due to the large number of Meo people, it is also called Mewat. It covers an area of 1,860 square kilometers (720 square miles) and has a population of 1.09 million. It is bordered by Gurugram district to the north, Rewari district to the west, and Faridabad and Palwal districts to the east. This area has a predominantly Muslim population. It is the modern southern part of Haryana and northeastern Rajasthan. Agriculture-based activities are the main business in the district.
