Nasiya Ji Jain Mandir Dharuhera

Introduction
In the year 1975, the residents of Dharuhera, namely Shri Kundan Lal Ji (son of Lala Banarsi Das Ji), Shri Udamiram Ji, Shri Sheersingh Ji, Shri Rameshwar Das Ji (son of Lala Bishambar Dayal Ji), Shri Om Prakash Ji (son of Lala Ram Prasad Ji), Shri Kashmiri Lal Ji (son of Lala Fakir Chand Ji), and Shri Puran Chand Ji, unanimously and joyfully donated a piece of land to the Jain community. The registration of this land was completed by the Jain community in 1975. There was a Govt. tourism complex adjacent to this land and they wanted to acquire this place. To save the land from going under the tourism department, the Jain community built a room overnight and brought the statue of Shri Mahavir Bhagwan from Jaipur and enshrined it there. By doing so, the land was saved from the malice intentions of the tourism department. After some time, the idea of running a school in this area emerged. The foundation stone of Jain Public School was laid in 1980 by the DC of Rewari, Mr. K.C. Sharma Ji, who laid the first brick of the school with his own hands.
In the year 2014, the Chaturmas of the revered Gayanini Aryika Shri 105 Syaddhadhamati Mata Ji happened in Dharuhera. Due to Mata Ji's advancing age, her health was not well, and she passed away on September 21, 2014. The construction of her Samadhi Sthal (Memorial Site) was done under the guidance of her sister, Aryika Shri 105 Yashasvini Mata Ji. Therefore, the temple is known as Shri 1008 Digambar Jain Mandir, Nasiya Ji, in her honor.
Present Situation
Currently, in Nasiya Ji Mandir, the white marble idol of Shri Mahavir Bhagwan is enshrined. In the premises, there is also a Samadhi Sthal constructed for the revered Gayanini Aryika Shri 105 Syadadhammati Mata Ji. The area of the premises is around 2.45 acres of land. The Jain community has decided to construct a new temple within the premises and enshrined the idol there. In Dharuhera, Jain Saints visit from time to time. Arrangements for their stay are made in the Jain school adjacent to the temple. Earlier, the school provided education up to the twelfth grade. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a lockdown was imposed, resulting in the closure of the school. The Jain community believes that one day this school will be available again for children's education.
Dharamshala
In Dharuhera, there is a community of more than a hundred Jain families. The management of the temple is handled by the Jain community itself. From time to time, Jain Saints regularly visit the area. A residence called the "Tyagi Bhavan'' has been constructed for the accommodation of Jain Saints. If any Pilgrim contacts the temple and arrives, arrangements are made for their stay in the Dharamshala built by the Jain community. Also there is a Jain school constructed by the Jain community that provides education up to the fifth grade.
History
Dharuhera is a census town located just 19 kilometers away from the city of Rewari in the state of Haryana, India. It falls within the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi and serves as a major industrial center in the Rewari district. Dharuhera also has emerged as a new development corridor between Gurugram and New Delhi. It is only an hour's drive from the Indira Gandhi International Airport. It is connected to Rajasthan from New Delhi, via National Highway 48. Due to its location, it is a prime choice for industrialists, investors, and real estate developers. As per the 2011 Census of India, the population of Dharuhera was 30,344. The male population constituted 54.09% and the female population constituted 45.91% of the total. The average literacy rate in Dharuhera was 83.18%, which was higher than the state average of 75.55% and the national average of 74.04% as of 2011.
