Kirthal Atishay Kshetra Baghpat
In Baghpat, the construction of Trilok Teerth Dham and other Jain temples, including the Shri Parshvanath Bhagwan Atishay Kshetra, has taken place.
Introduction
Shri 1008 Digambar Jain Mandir Kirthal Atishay Kshetra is located in the Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated 83 kilometers away from Delhi. The idols enshrined in the temple were brought here nearly 200 years ago to protect them from the attacks of invaders from a city in Rajasthan. Presently, the temple houses the Chaturth Kalin Pratima of Shri 1008 Munisuvratnath Bhagwan Ji, who is believed to ward off all types of Saturn-related afflictions. Additionally, the temple also features the nearly 800-year-old idol of Shri 1008 Parshvanath Bhagwan Ji as Moolnayak Pratima. Other Chaturth Kalin idols of Shri 1008 Munisuvratnath Bhagwan Ji, Shri 1008 Padmaprabhu Bhagwan Ji, and Shri 1008 Neminath Bhagwan Ji are also enshrined in various Vedi (altars) of the temple. People visit the temple every Saturday and Sunday from distant areas to seek blessings and pray for the alleviation of their Navagraha (nine planetary) afflictions.
Dharamshala
Near the temple, there is a pilgrims' accommodation facility for those coming from afar, where pure vegetarian meals are also arranged. Additionally, parking facilities are available for vehicles.
History
Baghpat is also known as the "City of Gardens''. Its significance increased after the 1857 uprising. Initially part of Meerut, Baghpat was designated as a separate district in 1997. The main businesses here include jaggery and sugar production.

Baghpat has historical connections dating back to the Mahabharata era. In Barnawa, a city in Baghpat, remnants of the Mahabharata period, such as the Lakshagriha, are still present. The distance between Delhi and Kirthal is 83 kilometers, while it is 35 kilometers from Baghpat to Kirathal. To the east of Kirathal lies Ramala, to the west is Heva, to the north is Kakripur, and to the south is Sherpur Luhara.
