Gohana Navin Jain Mandir

Shri 1008 Bhagwan Adinath Digambar Jain Navin Mandir Ji is located alongside Gohana's Prachin Jain Mandir. The construction of the temple was initiated by Seth Suganchandar Jain, more than 350 years ago. It is said that Seth Suganchandar Ji had pledged to construct 100 Jain temples, and wherever he went, he ensured the construction of a Jain temple in that region. During the temple construction, he would leave the entrance of the temple to be completed by the society. If anyone asked him about it, he would say that his wealth had depleted, so the Jain community should manage it through the Jain Panchayat. He would hand over the temple to the Panchayat and leave. He did so to avoid having only his name associated with the temple's construction and to ensure that the temple was built not by one individual but by the entire community.

Presently the temple has three Vedi (altar) established. The Mool (main) Vedi is built as a Samavasharan, where the idol of Shri 1008 Adinath Bhagwan ji is placed. Besides the Mool Vedi, there are also idols dedicated to Shri 1008 Mahavir Bhagwan and Shri 1008 Vasupujya Bhagwan. The walls of the temple depict Jain history through paintings. Gold work is done on all the walls of Garbh Grah (sanctum sanctorum). The various Jain Saints have visited the temple from time to time. In 1982, Jain Acharya Shri 108 Dharmabhushan Ji Maharaj’s Chaturmas took place in the temple. In his memory, his portrait was also painted on the walls of the temple. The temple has three paths for Parikrama (circumambulation) one from the temple's Shikhar (spire), one from the temple's Garbh Grah, and one from the temple's base. Local community members visit the temple daily to have darshan of the idols.
