Introduction
Muni Shri Arun Sagar Aradhya Dham Navgrah Digambar Jain Mandir, is located in Sector 88, Faridabad, Haryana, 53 kilometers away from Delhi. The construction of the temple was inspired by Shri 108 Arun Sagar Ji Maharaj. The foundation stone of the temple was laid on August 23, 2018, and the Panchkalyanak (consecration ceremony) commenced on November 27, culminating on December 4, 2019. The Mool (main) Vedi (altar) of the temple houses the idol of Shri 1008 Adinath Bhagwan as Moolnayak Pratima (main deity’s idol), along with the idol of Shri Pushpadant Bhagwan, Shri Shantinath Bhagwan, and other Jain deities.
To the left of the Mool Vedi, the Vedi of Shri Chandra Prabhu Bhagwan is established and to the right of the Mool Vedi, the Vedi of Shri Neminath Bhagwan Ji is established. In the fourth Vedi of the temple, the Moolnayak Pratima is of Shri Mahavir Bhagwan Ji. After 2019, the Panchkalyanak of Bharat and Bahubali Bhagwan Ji's idols was performed, and they were established along with the idol of Shri Mahavir Bhagwan Ji. In the Vedi of the temple, there are also some precious stone idols enshrined. Once, due to an error by someone, the idol of Shri Neminath Bhagwan, which was a precious idol, got damaged. Then the Panchkalyanak was also conducted and along with the pratima Shri Neminath Bhagwan Ji, the precious stone idols of Shri Munisuvratnath Bhagwan, Shri Chandraprabhu Bhagwan and Shri Pushpadanta Bhagwan Ji were also enshrined in the Vedi.
A Guru Vedi has been constructed in the temple. A grand Manstambh is also being constructed in the temple, in which it has been decided to establish idols of Shri Adinath Bhagwan (two idols), Bharat and Bahubali Bhagwan (two idols), the last Shruti Kevali Shri Jambuswami Ji, and the son of the first Tirthankar (Shri 1008 Adinath Bhagwan Ji), Shri Anantveer Ji. There is deep faith among people towards the temple. The construction of the temple has ignited a positive energy among the people in the area. In the region, significant Jain festivals such as Mahavir Jayanti, Daslakshan Parv, and Paryushan Parv are celebrated with great enthusiasm. From time to time, revered Saints have also visited the area. So far, Shri 108 Vasunandi Ji Maharaj, along with Shri 108 Shivanandi Ji Maharaj and Shri 108 Krishnanandi Ji Maharaj from their Sangh, have visited the temple.

Muni Shri Arun Sagar Aradhya Dham, Navgrah Digambar Jain mandir holds significant importance not just for Faridabad but for the entire Jain community across India. The temple prioritizes cleanliness and maintenance for the devotees visiting, ensuring they face no inconvenience during their darshan. Jain Saints keep regularly visiting the temple, and eight rooms have been constructed as arrangements for their stay.

To facilitate their stay, rooms are also available for them. Parking facilities are provided for pilgrims coming from distant areas. The temple committee ensures medical facilities for people of all sections of society in the region, including a homeopathic pharmacy, physiotherapy center, and treatment through modern techniques like Acupressure. Every day, Jain community members visit the temple for worship and Abhishek (auspicious bath of the idol).
History
Faridabad is a district in the state of Haryana, India. It is an important satellite city of the national capital region, Delhi. Faridabad was founded in 1607 by Sheikh Farid, also known as Baba Farid. Baba Farid was a renowned Sufi saint and served as the treasurer under the Mughal emperor Jahangir. A mausoleum has been built in his honor, which is highly revered by some locals. After the partition of India in 1950, a large group of refugees from Pakistan settled here. Industries were established to accommodate their resettlement. Later, people from various communities, regions, and religions also settled in Faridabad. Initially, it was a part of the Gurgaon district. On August 15, 1979, Faridabad was established as a separate district. Faridabad is an industrial city and is considered an important industrial area of the Delhi NCR. Various industries, especially automotive, electronics, engineering, and steel industries, have developed here. The maximum temperature in Faridabad remains high during the summer months of June and July, and the enjoyment of cold weather is from November to February. The city is also known for heavy vehicular traffic. Additionally, Faridabad has several major tourist attractions such as the Sultanpur National Park, Surajkund Lake, Badkhal Lake, and more. Faridabad is famous for its progressive history and industrial activity.
