Introduction
Shri 1008 Digambar Jain Chota Mandir is located in the Jain city of Baraut in Baghpat district. It is called Chota Jain Mandir because its construction took place after the establishment of the Bada Jain Mandir nearby. Chota Jain Mandir is constructed from Makrana marble stone and dates back approximately 450 years. The temple has a total of 6 (Vedi) altars.
In the first Vedi, along with the Moolnayak Pratima (main deity’s idol) of Shri 1008 Adinath Bhagwan Ji with other idols is enshrined. In the second Vedi, along with the Moolnayak Pratima of Shri 1008 Parshvanath Bhagwan Ji, other idols are also enshrined. The third Vedi of the temple houses the Moolnayak Pratima of Shri 1008 Mahavir Bhagwan Ji. In the fourth which is Mool Vedi (main altar) as well, there is an prachin Pratima (ancient idol) of Bhagwan Mahavir Swami Ji. The Moolnayak Pratima of Shri 1008 Mahavir Bhagwan Ji was brought from Mauzmabad, Rajasthan and established in the temple.
In the fifth Vedi of the temple, along with the Moolnayak Pratima of Shri 1008 Parshvanath Bhagwan Ji, other idols are also enshrined. In the final Vedi of the temple, there is a beautiful idol of Mata Padmavati Ji. A beautiful temple made of white stone has been constructed for Mata Padmavati Ji.

For the convenience of pilgrims coming from afar, arrangements for a guesthouse have been made in the temple premises.

Baraut is 62 kilometers away from Delhi. To the east of Baraut lies Meerut, to the west lies Sonipat and Murthal, to the north lies Shamli and Panipat, and to the south lies New Delhi.
