Introduction
Shri 1008 Parshvanath Digambar Jain Mandir is located near Agrasen Chowk in Chawla Colony, Ballabhgarh. The first Panchkalyanak (consecration ceremony) of the temple was held on Magh Shukla Basant Panchami, 9th February 1992, in the presence of Shri 108 Anand Sagar Ji Maharaj and Pratishthaacharya Shri Fateh Chand Ji Shastri from Udaipur. Prior to the construction of the temple, the Jain community had to travel far for darshan. It was decided by the local Jain community that a Jain temple should be constructed in the area to ensure future generations are benefited from spiritual growth. The entire Jain community donated some part of its income for the construction of the temple. In 1992, the local Jain committee purchased the land and initiated the construction of the temple. Currently, people from distant areas visit the Shri 1008 Parshvanath Digambar Jain Mandir to benefit from spiritual teachings.
