Introduction
Shri 1008 Chandraprabhu Digambar Jain Mandir is located in Ballabhgarh, eight kilometers away from Faridabad. The Panchkalyanak (consecration ceremony) of the temple took place on March 9, 2022, under the inspiration of revered Sant 108 Shrut Sagar Ji Maharaj. Alongside the temple, there is a Jain Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School. It is said that this land was donated by some prominent individuals of the community for the construction of a Jain dharamshala. The Jain community collectively constructed a magnificent building on this land, where all members of the society continued their religious and social activities with zeal. After some time, the community decided to operate a school in this building, a decision that was welcomed by all members of the Jain community. Thus, under the auspices of the Jain Vidya Pracharini Sabha, this school has been running for nearly 30 years. Later, as more people from the Jain community started coming here, a need for a temple was felt. To address this, the community collectively purchased some additional land adjacent to the temple and constructed rooms, and erected a magnificent temple in front of the Jain school premises. The Shri 1008 Chandraprabhu Digambar Jain Mandir in Ballabhgarh primarily consists of one Vedi (altar) where the Moolnayak Pratima (main deity’s idol) of Shri 1008 Chandraprabhu Bhagwan is situated. Along with the Moolnayak Pratima, there are also idols of Shri 1008 Vasupujya Bhagwan, Shri 1008 Neminath Bhagwan, Shri 1008 Shantinath Bhagwan, Shri 1008 Parshvanath Bhagwan, Shri Mahavir Bhagwan, and other idol of Shri 1008 Chandraprabhu Bhagwan.

The temple holds significant importance in the area, with belief that every wish of a sincere devotee is fulfilled here. Whenever Jain Saints visit the area, they make it a point to visit this temple. Over time, revered figures such as Shri 108 Gyanbhushan Ji Maharaj, Acharya Shri 108 Vasunandi Ji Maharaj, Jain Ratna Shri 108 Anuman Sagar Ji Maharaj, and Acharya Shri 108 Vishok Sagar Ji Maharaj have visited the temple. Their presence brings a unique energy to the area. The devotees associated with the temple, regularly conduct activities like meditation, worship, and abhishek.
Dharamshala
Ballabgarh city is located just eight kilometers away from the Faridabad district in Haryana. There are around 250 to 300 families of the Jain community residing in Ballabgarh. There are three Digambar Jain Mandir located in the area, and the temples are managed and operated by Jain families. The area observes various Jain festivals such as Das Lakshan Parva, Shri Mahavir Jayanti, and the birth and liberation anniversaries of Shri Munisuvratnath, celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor. All Jain families come together to participate in these auspicious occasions. In the Jain colony of Ballabgarh, along with the revered Shri 1008 Chandraprabhu Digambar Jain Mandir, there is also a Jain Vidya Mandir School established. This school provides education up to the twelfth grade to approximately seven hundred children. Jain Saints often visit the area from time to time, and arrangements for their stay are made in clean rooms within the school premises. Additionally, if any Jain pilgrim visits the temple from a distant area, arrangements for their accommodation are provided by the temple committee.
History
Faridabad is a district in the state of Haryana, India. It is an important satellite city of the national capital region, Delhi. The city was founded in 1607 by Sheikh Farid, also known as Baba Farid. Baba Farid was a renowned Sufi saint and also served as the treasurer for the Mughal emperor Jahangir. There is a shrine dedicated to Baba Farid in the city, which is held in high regard by some local people. The maximum temperature in Faridabad remains high during the summer months of June and July, and the city experiences pleasant weather from November to February. The city also faces heavy vehicular traffic. Additionally, Faridabad boasts several prominent tourist attractions such as the Sultanpur National Park, Surajkund Lake, Badkhal Lake, and others. Faridabad is renowned for its dynamic history and industrial activity.
